Alternatively, Al-An would point out a location whenever you’re in a hub (i.e., the drop pod or any base structure that you’ve built). There are multiple Alien Artifacts scattered all over Subnautica: Below Zero‘s world, and there’s a good chance that you’ll see a marker when you’re fairly close to one. He’ll be able to give you hints regarding other Architect bases and components (i.e., body parts that’d allow you to create a new vessel for him). Once you activate the panel in Sanctuary Zero, Al-An will merge with Robin’s consciousness.
You’ll know that you’re going the right way as soon as you spot green pillars that lead to an underwater cave system. It’s an old Architect base deep below the Twisty Bridges biome.
